Unlike the conventional project approach with designers and planners being involved too late and only for a short time, the ndvr fund is active in neighbourhoods in spatial transition for a long period of time to enable building knowledge and inclusion. Ndvr sees this long-term presence and engagement in neighbourhoods as a tipping point in the realization of qualitative socio-spatial projects.
By being active in various neighborhoods with spatial challenges, ndvr is building a multi local learning network that enables knowledge exchange. The ndvr fund is an open learning structure that involves different private, (non-) governmental organization and citizen movements.
