Laken (Brussels) wants to restore and transform their former train station into a vivid and artictic public space. The new destination of the building has the potential to act as a landmark in the city. The ambition of this project is to be a dynamic hotspot for the neighbourhood with a variety of socio-cultural functions. Participation has an important role in defining the potential of the program. B-architecten and ndvr joined forces to involve different stakeholders in Laken in the design proces, but also to co-create the participation process as such.
